When Harbor High senior Mace Anderson took up wrestling midway through his sophomore season, he showed plenty of promise but he had plenty to work on.
In a relatively short span, Anderson has progressed immensely.
The defending Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League champion at 145 pounds, Anderson placed third at the Central Coast Section championships last season and qualified for the CIF state championships.
This year, Anderson — considered the posterchild for wrestling in the SCCAL — is expected to not only return to the state tournament, but also finish in the top eight. Read more here...
