On-Line Resources for Teachers
The purpose of this page is to provide a place for teachers to leave resources for each other.  All teachers can edit this page ... add anything you think other teachers might use.  Just login as you normally do and then edit it as you would any other page.

Staff Development, Workshops or Conferences

If you are interested in attending any workshops or conferences OR given release time for professional growth, check out this link on how to access site funds.

Reporting Damages and Repairs

  • If any repairs or safety issues occur in your room, office area or on campus, complete a Work Order Request (available from the AP of Discipline’s Secretary in the Main Office).
  • Work orders can also be placed for tasks like putting up white boards and overhead screens,  replacing light bulbs that have gone out, or moving heavy objects
Field Trips
If you are interested in Planning a Field Trip  for either one or more of your classes or a group of students, review required procedures under this link.

Want to know how you can better prepare your students for this exam?  Math and literacy skills need to be built into the curriculum across all subject areas for students to be adequately prepared for the work force and or the next stage of their academic career so this is not just about teaching to a test.  However, we are judged on how 10th graders perform on the CAHSEE.  Part of meeting our AYP (Annual Yearly Progress) and therefore avoiding PI (Performance Improvement) status is based on our major student sub-groups scoring PROFICIENT (380+) on each portion of the test, not just earning a passing score of 350.    Besides sample tests, this resource includes the CAHSEE blueprints showing the various math and ELA standards and number and types of questions for each that are covered on this exam.
